ChemAutoProtect products do not use recycled solvents or mineral turpentine and are a highly advanced chemical compound that penetrates seams and joins with a thixotropic flexible protective coating, which effectively seals out moisture and other potentially corrosion forming compounds.

ChemAutoProtect products can be applied under body, and topside and inside doors and body panels and to all vulnerable areas including the vehicle’s under body protecting the chassis as well as safety components such as brake and fuel lines to help protect from corrosion.

There are both solvent-based products and water-based products available via ChemAutoProtect.

The water-based product is in in effect a wax that has little or no odour, contains no flammable solvents and is safer to use.

There are much fewer OH&S issues to contend with and is more environmentally friendly.

There is an easy water clean up, less over spray and is also fast dry – similar to the solvent based products.

A dry film develops with water resistance is less than 8 hours and then becomes water insoluble and can be removed only with kerosene after 5-7 days.

The under body product is a thick black-brown material, based on a mix of metallic complexes, waxes, oils, and bitumen. When drying by solvent evaporation, it gives a tough protective coating.
